The Results are positive on my Western Blot

I called University of Washington yesterday, first time I called the mean lady answered so I just hung up. I called back short time later and got a new person. I asked about my results, he didnt want to give me any info gave me the routine answer- we cant discuss results over the phone-call your doctor. I finally got a word in and informed him I just wanted to know if they were ready! He told me yes- now contact your doctor.

I called the doctors office bright and early- got the nurses voice mail which was ok with me because I am comfortable with her- left her a message. she usually calls back within the hour so after 3 hours I was a little nervous. I called during lunch time and office was closed so hung up. called 135pm and got nurses VM but her message had changed. she stated she was going to be out for a few days and etc so I was really scared i wouldnt get the results until she got back in the office. I decided against leaving a message again and just hung up. A few minutes later she called me back.

She knew why I was calling already- and made mention of "the stuff from quest" i said yes. She informed me she hadnt seen it yet and had given it to the doctor who left for clinic. I just put my head down in disappointment and braced myself for the long week until the nurse got back. a few minutes later the phone rings its the nurse I pick up and her words cut me like a knife.

"I just talked to Dr ----- and she told me to tell you it's positive- positve-positve, the virus is definatly in your body ok? I know you havent had an OB but you definatly have the virus in your body. Call me if you develop an OB. "
WOW is what I was feeling. Her words haunted me for the rest of the day. I gathered myself to call back and ask for a copy- I knew I had to do it quickly since the nurse was leaving and after a few run arounds finally a copy was left for me.
